A major service is crucial to a vehicle’s performance & lifespan and includes:

• Change of engine oil
• Change of air filter
• Change of fuel filter*
• Change of oil filter
• Change of spark plugs (excluding platinum)
• 62 point check**
• Change of cambelt***

 

*Most modern cars are designed with in-tank fuel filters and are therefore not changed

 **Any defects found will be reported directly to the customer. Any critical defects found will require immediate attention

***A preferable cambelt history should be provided prior to service as Da Silva Auto will not be liable for defects or complications arising from a worn cambelt

A minor service is important to your vehicle’s maintenance and can save you money. It includes:

This service also applies to immobile cars brought to the Da Silva Auto workshop

62 point safety check is a comprehensive inspection that entails the removal & cleaning of certain parts to search for any faults before being reassembled.

Cars are suspended using a two post car lift to carry out the check which entails the inspection of the undercarriage, engine compartments, oil leaks, suspension parts, electronic components, tyre conditions & the wear on steering parts, among many other checks.
